We will help you put our advice into action, supporting you to apply for jobs, learn new skills, deal with complex workplace situations, and increase your visibility. We can provide you with invaluable personal coaching and our resources will support you through every stage of your career.
Black in Projects is a space that will support you in elevating your career, your profile and knowledge in a safe environment.
Why Black Professionals?
We know that the mainstream websites and groups don’t understand the unique challenges that black professionals face and how we need different tactics to decrease the salary gap and increase our presence in the boardroom.
We want to raise the profile of black project professionals, help them to challenge the status quo where it matters and set the highest standards. In a complex world, we’re helping the profession deliver better because when projects succeed, society benefits, including our own communities.
Our Beliefs
- We believe that black professionals can achieve in any arena they choose.
- We believe that a fulfilling career is a matter of progress not perfection.
- We believe that professional growth is personal, however, no matter what stage you are in your career, we all benefit from a supportive community.
- We believe that lifelong learning is the vital tool that will create the tools to keep you in charge of your career path.
- We believe in real tools and resources, keeping it simple but effective.
- We believe in practical advice and to the point guidance.
We believe in You.
